Privacy
Draft for the owner to review before launch. This is not legal advice. Last updated 10 October 2026.
The CLI
pg-witness collects nothing and sends nothing. It has no telemetry, no license check, and no network calls of its own. It only connects to a Postgres server on the same machine. Your dump and the evidence file stay on your machine.
Payments
Paddle handles checkout and payment as the merchant of record. Your card details, billing address, and the email you give at checkout go to Paddle and are covered by Paddle's privacy notice. We do not see your card details.
What the website stores
After a completed payment, the fulfillment server keeps a small local SQLite database with:
- the Paddle event ID and transaction ID,
- the download token, when it expires, and when it was used,
- timestamps for when each record was written.
It does not store your name, email address, or payment details. The server log also records the transaction ID and download link when a payment is fulfilled.
Cookies and analytics
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Fonts are served from this site. Like most websites, the web server and the CDN in front of it (Cloudflare) can keep standard request logs, such as IP address, browser, and the page requested.
Your requests
To ask what we hold about a purchase, or to have it deleted, email [email protected] with your Paddle order or transaction ID. Requests about data Paddle holds go to Paddle.
